Lucas aids Red Cross Indiana flood relief

Forrest Lucas, President and CEO of Lucas Oil, and his wife Charlotte, donated $50,000 tonight to the American Red Cross. Lucas flew over the flooding in the counties south of Indianapolis and was overwhelmed by the damage done. "I’ve have never seen such devastation," Lucas said. "People have lost their homes, their farms, their jobs. Charlotte and I wanted to do something to help the disaster relief effort, and couldn’t think of a better recipient than the American Red Cross." Accepting Lucas’ pledge was Mary Ellen Anable, CEO of the Bartholomew-Brown County, Indiana, Chapter of the American Red Cross.
