Red Cross Opens Additional Shelters for Flood Victims

In response to flooding along local rivers, the American Red Cross will be providing food and shelter and the following locations:

  • Solid Rock Baptist Church
    14041 Locust Street, Wapello, Iowa
  • Louisa and Muscatine School
    14354 170th Street, Letts, Iowa
  • Columbus Junction United Methodist Church
    517 2nd Street, Columbus Junction, Iowa
  • Keithsburg Christian Church
    2005 Main Street, Keithsburg, IL
  • Mediapolis Elementary
    725 N. Northfield Street, Mediapolis, IA

Families seeking shelter are urged to bring bedding and necessary medications with them to the shelter. Red Cross workers are also on the ground today in Davenport and East Moline providing damage assessment and client casework for those affected by flooding yesterday.
