INDIANAPOLIS, June 15, 2008 – Red Cross is on the job today, Sunday, June 15, providing emergency assistance to meet the disaster-caused needs of hundreds of Hoosiers across central and southern Indiana.
People needing Red Cross disaster assistance should call 1-866-GET-INFO to receive Red Cross shelter and service center locations, and other vital information.
AMERICAN RED CROSS SERVICE DELIVERY SITES:
All locations will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 15, 2008.
- Morgan County: Poston Road Elementary, 139 E. Poston Rd., Martinsville, IN
- Bartholomew County: Northside Middle School, 1400 27th St., Columbus, IN
- Owen County: Spencer Elementary, 151 E Hillside Ave, Spencer, IN
- Vigo County: Booker T. Washington Community Center, 1101 S. 13th St., Terre Haute, IN
- Vigo County: West Vigo Community Center, 127 W. Johnson St., West Terre Haute, IN
Affected residents need to bring a valid photo ID and proof of residence with them.
Clean up supplies – gloves, tarps and trash bags are also available at these locations.
All American Red Cross disaster assistance is free, made possible by voluntary donations of time and money from the American people.
